I love yoga!

Over the last 40 years yoga has kept me sane – as well as fit, and in a world where we are constantly being told we are growing older, but sicker, I passionately believe yoga has something to offer for the well-being and longevity of all of us. It is as relevant, if not more so now, than it was centuries ago when its first teachings emerged.

There has never been such a good time to enter the yoga market.

Yoga classes right now are booming and the spin off businesses of clothing, retreats and alternative therapies are increasingly drawing interest and building thriving businesses.

People from all walks of life are looking for something which helps them not only stay fit, but eases the stresses of their fast-paced lives.

And YOU could help them!

But making a career or any form of sustainable income from your love of yoga is easier said than done.

The truth is, they don’t teach you how to generate income at yoga teacher training! At least most schools don't - and if they do, it's a token couple of hours at most. So here we are, the graduates - passionate about yoga - and dying to spread the word - but with little idea of where to start.

At the age of 66, I started teaching yoga 5 years ago and currently teach a maximum of 9-11 hours a week (for 30 weeks of the year less than 6 hours a week), have over 100 paying students at any one time, have run 6 successful day retreats - now looking to run weekend retreats – and have over 600 interested people on my e-mail list.

I’m generating anything from £1500 to over £3000 in a month, teaching a maximum of 9-11 hours a week. I’ve built a wonderful student community and it’s benefiting hundreds of people.

And I know I could help other passionate yogis like me leave their version of the “rat race” and build something sustainable too.
