FEBRUARY 2024 YOGA RETREAT DAY.
BEYOND WRINKLES AND WEIGHT!
The untold story of skeletal mass as we age.

Let's look at ageing through a less talked about lens: strength and stability.

Let's explore how yoga and a little know-how could significantly improve your health and well-being as you age.

In this retreat day you'll explore:

  • The crucial function of muscles in our bodies and in the ageing process. (Seriously fascinating stuff I didn't know that much about until recently.)
  • Why dieting, particularly yo-yo dieting, can seriously cause you problems as you age.
  • Age-related myths as well as misconceptions about developing strength and muscle. (Particularly rife amongst women)
  • An understanding of the absolutely pivotal roles of resistance/strength training and the food we eat in maintaining or even improving our skletal mass as we age.
  • How yoga can contribute to a new, stronger you. Learn some of the key yoga poses and techniques that can help you stay forever strong.
  • Tips from psychology to help you build new lifestyle habits that last.

PLUS: Guest speaker in the afternoon. Nutritionist Elena Holmes will share some of the science and recommendations about thee fuel we eat and its relation to supoprting our skeletal mass as we age.

I want you to come away with far more than you would from just a yoga class or a spa day.

I want you to walk away feeling revitalised and with your own personal strength plan so you defy the stereotype of getting older and live life to the full for as long as possible.
